The best way to spread Christmas cheer…

CP Winter Formal “Blizzard Bash”
Being in the College Program can definitely have a lot of downsides (more to come on that later), but last night was not one of them. My roommates and I attended “Blizzard Bash” at the Contemporary Resort and had so much fun dancing the night away!

The best roommates a girl could ask for!

The food offered at these events is never that great, but last night’s food was actually decent. We had chicken, pasta and bread. But, there wasn’t enough seats and tables, so we had to eat on the floor…

The event lasted from 8:00 p.m. – midnight, and we left around 11:45 p.m. to try to beat the rush to the bus. We didn’t. We ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes to get on the bus, and finally arrived back to Chatham a little before 1:00 a.m. Crazy!

Finding Christmas Cheer
So, we have 20 days until Christmas! Being in Orlando is very weird at this time of the year. We have a high in the 80s all week –  definitely not the sweater winter coat and boots weather I am used to!

To help me get into the Christmas spirit (I keep forgetting it’s December), I made a Christmas activity list:

Go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Decorate a Christmas tree.
Spend an afternoon with roommates baking Christmas cookies.
Watch Christmas movies.
Donate to a family in need.
Eat a gingerbread cookie at the Grand Floridian.
See The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights as much as possible.
Watch the Candlelight Processional.
Check out ICE at Gaylord Palms.
Go Christmas shopping for a family in need.
Make a gingerbread house.
Visit all Disney resorts to see their holiday decor.
Look at Christmas lights in a neighborhood.
