Happy Monday, Time Travelers!
I have less than a month left with my Disney College Program. After January 3rd, I will no longer be a Cast Member. Leaving the CP will be bittersweet, not because this is my dream job (nope, not at all), but because of the friendships I have made here. But, I am a University of Illinois college graduate, so I feel it is time to get a job that will allow me to use my knowledge and degree.
I plan on cramming as much as possible into my last three weeks here. My roommates and I made a CP Bucket List that we’ve been slacking on, so we definitely need to work on that. In the meantime, one of my best friends from college will be flying in tomorrow to spend a few days at Walt Disney World, and I am so excited to show her the Disney ropes!
It’s beginning to feel
a lot a little like Christmas!
Yesterday, I spent the day decorating my apartment with some roommates while listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies. While I still can’t get used to this 80 degree weather in December, I finally feel a little more festive!
The Christmas tree came from Walmart ($20, 6ft, unlit), and the decorations came from Walmart and Dollar Tree. It came together perfectly, and we are so proud of our tree. 🙂
Our apartment smells like cinnamon thanks to a Scentsy warmer (no candles allowed in CP housing, and yes, we have inspections), and we are also decorating stockings to hang up. The small touches are coming together nicely, and it’s beginning to look like a Florida Christmas around here!
Have a wild day!
