Sounds dramatic, huh?
This was the day I drove to Vista Way alone to meet my (*hopeful*) roommates and to check-in for the Disney College Program.
I remember check-in like it was yesterday. I met up with Jenn, Bri, Cait and our two other hopeful roommates Stephanie and Krista early in the morning. We were all so excited to finally meet! We didn’t have to wait too long before it was our turn to check-in. We found out that Jenn, Bri, Cait and I would be living in a four-bedroom apartment at Chatham, but not with Stephanie and Krista.
Four-bedroom apartment? Chatham? Wait, what?! This was not what we wanted! (Imagine six panicked, stressed girls…)
If three’s a crowd, what is eight?
After doing the other check-in things and heading to casting for more paperwork, we finally met the other four girls. And, we all became best friends. The end!
Of course, it wasn’t that simple. Can you imagine an apartment with eight girls? We were bound to have problems…
We truthfully didn’t have any problems getting along. We became amazing friends and had so much fun together!
The Good Life
Whether we were dressing up as Minions for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, moving our furniture for an impromptu dance party or drinking early morning coffee with pumpkin spice cream, we never had a shortage of fun and laughter.
Singing the Frozen soundtrack was also a favorite (obviously)!
Just last night five of us had an ooVoo date and talked for about an hour. : )
The Disney College Program blessed me with some of the best friends and roommates I could ever imagine, and now I can’t picture my life without them and the memories we created!
Reminiscing about my days in the DCP makes me laugh, smile and tear up. I have a blast thinking about the past (fellow Dinosaur CMs, get it? hahaha). I met so many great people, whether they were in the DCP or fellow Cast Members! Thanks for the memories!
