High Five for Friday!

It’s Friday! Friday! Gotta get down on Friday!

If you forgot about that song, I’m sorry if it’s now stuck in your head for the rest of the day! Actually, I’m not. That song is one of my guilty pleasures! I once made up a parody called “Finals.” You can ask my old college roommates! haha

1. My Parents Anniversary

Happy, happy 27th anniversary to my parents! They have been in NYC for the past few days celebrating. Did anyone watch the David Letterman Show last night?! If so, you probably caught a glimpse of these lovebirds. They were sitting in the front row!

2. The Weather

Hello, gorgeous weather! It has been beautiful in Indianapolis this past week. The mornings are slightly cool, and I turn on my seat warmer and steering wheel warmer. But, the afternoon heats up. I drive home from work with my windows down. Stay like this forever, please!

3. This soup

Mmmmm….While I was home over the weekend, my mom and I made minestrone soup from The Runner’s World Cookbook. It was delicious! I haven’t tried anything else from the cookbook, but if it’s anywhere close to being as good as the soup, I will be pleased.

4. The Monon Community Center

I went here to swim the other day (which I didn’t end up swimming, but you know…) and fell in love with the beautiful scenery and all of the fun activities. If you aren’t a member, you can still walk on the indoor track for free which will be awesome during the winter when it is freezing or snowing!

5. Almost Bootless

My time is coming to an end with my Aircast! Yesterday, I went the day without wearing it and didn’t experience any pain. I go back to the doctor next Wednesday, and hopefully I will be cleared for some light cardio. I even will take the stationary bike as an option. Progress!!

Questions of the Day:

  • What are you looking forward to doing this weekend?
  • What is your favorite type of cardio?
