Happy Monday, everyone!!
How was your weekend? Mine flew by so quickly!
I drove home early Saturday morning to go to the eye doctor and get my hair done. On the way, I made a quick stop at Titus Bakery and got a pumpkin spice cake doughnut and a coffee. That bakery was hopping at 7:15 a.m. The line was nearly out the door! The Indy A-List recently awarded Titus Bakery as the number 1 bakery in the Indy-area. I can definitely see why!
I love my hair dresser back home, so it’s a good thing Indianapolis isn’t too far away. I tried someone different the last time I got my hair cut, so my hair was in bad shape. If you have very thick, unruly hair, I’m sure you can relate! Getting rid of the bulk is not the same as adding a lot of layers!
Anyway, my hair needed a lot of help, and we ended cutting off about four inches. Bye longer hair, and hello, lob!
So far, I really like it! I just need to figure out all the different ways I can style it.
On Sunday, I went to the Colts game with my family and friends.
I love going to Colts games! I really enjoy the fact that the roof can be opened and closed. Some people complain and say that isn’t real football, I say hooray for climate-controlled stadiums! It’s so nice to be able to go to a football game in the winter and not worry about freezing.
After we entered the stadium, there was a game set up to kick a “field goal” and get a pair of sunglasses. Well, my lovely boot has made a comeback, so I just grabbed a pair of sunglasses. Who doesn’t want a free spare pair?
The Colts played a great game, and we ended up leaving with about 8 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. It’s always fun to go to a game when your team is winning! The Illini seem to have a huge problem with that (winning) this season. Thankfully, the Colts don’t!
Thank you for reading! 🙂
