High Five for Friday!

Happy Friday!

This week flew by. I had another productive week (hello new job!), and I’m looking forward to another weekend filled with football games!

1. Fall party

On Tuesday, my roommate and I had a cute fall party! We made everything fall including chili, healthy pumpkin dip, caramel apple bar and hot apple cider. We had a great time, and I’ll be sharing our recipes soon!

2. Comforts of home

I was able to spend a couple of nights at home this week because of fun doctor appointments. I LOVE sleeping in my bed at home. My mattress and my pillows are just so comfortable! I have some of my best sleeps at home.

3. Volunteering at the pumpkin patch

Each year, my church puts on a small pumpkin patch for schools in the area. The children listen to a fall story, decorate a pumpkin cookie, play a few cute pumpkin games and then pick out a souvenir baby pumpkin to take home. They always seem to have a fun time, and I was glad to be able to volunteer for a little bit.

4. Target finds

You know how it goes… a quick trip to Target for one thing turns into 15. I initially went to buy Claritin, but I left with a picture frame, gold marker, cute alphabet stickers, a shirt, traveling toiletry bottles, agave vanilla flavoring for coffee and two new tea flavors. Shopping in Target is so much fun for me but not so much fun for my bank account!

5. Going to the dentist

Am I the only person in the world that enjoys going to the dentist? I love leaving with polished, extremely clean teeth! I always look forward to my six-month cleaning.

Question of the Day

  • Do you enjoy going to the dentist? Why or why not?

  1. HA! Now I’m dying and feeling slightly guilty that I sent you back to Target to get those mugs 😉 haha! But, yes, Target is dangerous. What recipe did you use for the pumpkin dip? I’m planning on making it next weekend but am trying to find a good recipe!

PS – I love the dentist. Have always enjoyed it. 🙂
